An app designed to calculate a companies potential savings on credit card processing fees through surcharging.
Overview
The sales team at SurchX needed a convenient way to quickly calculate how much a prospective client could save on their credit card processing fees. The problem is every company has different processing rates set by the banks.
The solution was to create an easy calculator app that the sales team could use on the go.
Process
Research
We had to research the various pricing models of processing fees used by banks and businesses, from flat-rate, tiered, and interchange, which determine how and when a merchant is charged for processing transactions.
Ideate and Design
Once research was complete, a low-fi wireframe was created before the final design was completed which included a sign up form and frequently asked questions, heling the sales team to communicate efficiently when in the field.
